Wonderful Mantels

My Bedroom Mantels

Yes they really aren't Mantel, but I am dressing them up like Mantels!  I found 3 beautiful busts

 I did try the boy and girl in my art room, not quite what I wanted....so I moved to my bedroom 

 They are really well with the Gent and Lady lamps, his side. her side.  So then I place the Madonna and child in the Art room...perfect

 The Guest room needed a little decorating too.  My santa that my Nana made back in the 60's so comforting to see it

                  The cottage bed all made up for a long winters sleep

And my last dresser mantel filled with my nurse collection and dressed with my Wonderful Life Poster and collections

Welcome Home

                                         Welcome to Our Front Porch!

 My dad made these reindeers and my mom painted them!  I made sure these came with me from Florida, such a sweet memory of them

 The front porch faces a great wooded area, to sit out here is so peaceful

Decorating one room at a time

Preparing for the 25th that is what Advent is all about

                                                My grandfather bought this beautiful Merry Christmas bottle for my Nana many, many years ago and it always sits on my dresser.

          I added my beautiful Italy glass tree and my vintage Tinsel Tree

                                                This year I added this sweet boy and girl to my new dresser

                      My mom gave this dresser case to me years ago, I filled it with items from her jewelry chest

White Christmas

I am spending today getting ready for the home tours, I can't wait because I get the best ideas from all!

I saw a beautiful vintage set on Ivy and Elephants on what is it and found one recently at a shop

I have this lovely angel from The Pink House made out of a Chenille Bedspread, with my collection of purses

  Yes I Believe in the Spirit of Christmas, I Believe that our Saviors Birth is a celebration.  So let us prepare for the celebration of the Nativity of Jesus at Christmas.
