Grey, Blue and White

I do love to shop around and when I find unusual things I bring them home!  This iron feris wheel is just the right color, grey blue, it matches the table I painted with Provence Blue.
I then found this!  Blue and White, Cows, Country Farm
 A better View...
Did you see that sneak peak above...yes it's a platter

I love the scene in the middle and the sculpture around the plate...it goes so well on my sideboard.

It brings that soft glow to my silver and sweet nest

The tones of grey lend its self to blue and white

Isn't it funny how one piece will tie the room together!  All my favorite things in one area!

I love chippy white, crusty iron petals, blues and greys

I can't wait to sit by the fireplace and curl up with my favorite bloggers and a cup of tea
I hope your Sunday was fulfilling and I am so Thankful for my family, my husbands health and our home!  Have a great week!

Kitchen Greys

The different patina's of grey in my kitchen delight me!

A sweet surprise of this little nest makes me giggle when I glance over while cooking.  It really was so easy.  I put a little glue on the moss and hot glued the eggs on.  Easy Peasey!

The different hues of the silver gives my spoon rack a charming vintage accent.  I painted this sixties spoon rack with paris grey followed by olde white.

My breadbox has developed it's own greyish patina over the years, it makes me love it even more.  And the seltzer bottles, love their silver tops.
There is a ring of silver on this sweet butter pat.  This butter pat has a special story.  My mom and I would shop and we would buy a butter pat, but for some reason we could never find them when we got home.  When I was doing her estate, I found this sweet one (the only one either of us had!) and knew it would come home with me.

My stove grate is a fun find from shop on the side of the road!!  And my sweet bread board a fun reminder of a family reunion at THE FARM in Linville Falls, NC.  More on that memory in a later post.  I hope your week is filled with joy and some great memories of your favorite finds.

Halloween Fun

Halloween was filled with fun, at work we had a pumpkin contest

BooDid you have a frightful night?

Oh, we did...the neighbors decorated their house with craved pumpkins, they spent a week carving these pumpkins.  After the night is over they are going to take the pumpkins to the farm and feed them to the pigs!!
The art in this is incredible!

My little grandson dressed as King Arthur (or King Rowan as we called him).  We went trick or treating around the neighborhood
We met alot of characters! No this was not a real person but a moving statue!

Have a great week!!!!  Di
