Horseback Riding at the Biltmore

Come on a horse ride with me on the Biltmore Grounds

 My hubby and daughter went with me to enjoy the day!  The stalls house 20 horses that work 2 days, rest 2 days, have all the hay and water they want and have foot and leg messages daily!  Wow I want that job.

Where I Create

I am excited to show you my creative spaces.  I love to work in my craft room, basement, yard and porch.

I haven't changed much of the room this year, but as we get ready to move I am thinking how I am going to expand my spaces.

We are downsizing so I won't have my basement to play in

I am taking my wonderful storage area and hope to have a sewing area.  I love to store all my bits and pieces in jars.

I do love my supplies.  Of course I would like a more organized spot!

These are some of my fun creations this year.  My banner came from a sweet blogger and sure made my heart flutter!  I jazzed it up with some of my goodies too.

This is my favorite lamp.  A friend brought it back from Round Top Texas fair.  I put my favorite buckle and lace on it.

This spot has my favorite collections, my grandmom's vases and my moms clock collection.  One of my most relaxing places to create is my back porch.  I love to paint and plan new projects.

Come sit a spell and enjoy a cool drink, we will share projects and have some fun

 

The Pink House is a wonderful shop where I have taken classes for painting with Annie Sloan chalk paint and bought so many fun projects to do.

Collecting the things you love

 We are going to build a house!!  We are downsizing and moving next door to our daughter.

Here we are on our property and I can't wait to fill it with my things I love and new design elements to continue our story

 I want to incorporate some wrought iron at my front door

 Wouldn't this be an awesome island

 And yes I need some succulents around my house

 I want an island and will need stools, I love these

 Of course, I really want a mannie!

 Wouldn't this be fabulous to have on the porch

and yes a lovely tub filled with flowers would be wonderful to fill my dreams with joy.  That lovely dress won't hurt either!!

FUN IN THE SUN

Fun in the Sun : What a great way to get the summer started.  The deck is finished and we are decorated, just in time for the upcoming holiday.

 I finished my rockers with a touch up on the chipped wood.  

 I filled the voltive holders with river rock and placed my Milk Glass Pitcher and cups on my porcelain tray.

 My centerpiece and chairs are all finished and up on the deck

 The plants are set in my hungarian tub

Come on over and sit a while, we will share some stories and a nice cold drink!

More fun to come on the front porch!
