Christmas Neutrals

The calmness of the season calls to me.  The sweetness, joy and beauty of the season resonates in my mind.

The memories of past haunt me with the shadows of past holidays reminding me of my loved ones no longer here.

And then I remember the sweet dreams of child like desires of Santa Claus and recall the joy of sharing those holidays with my parents and grandparents.  Yes, I Believe...

 Because we have the sweet promise of Christmas love.

 The light from above, the promise of what is to come and waits for us.

 I am excited to share my love for this holiday with my grandsons as we prepare our hearts to receive great hope and gifts.

 May angels grace you with blessings as this season surrounds us.

Fall neutrals

A tour around the house of some of my favorite neutrals.   I treasure items that need a little love. This ironstone sugar bowl was missing its lid. It came home with me. 

I won this beautiful white burlap pumpkin when I first started blogging. Such a sweet gift. 

My handcrafted nest is handcrafted from our dear organizer of the blogger party "where bloggers create"

It is a great prop for my picture 

My dining room is filled with the things I love

I added a creamy white lace curtain to the bath room. I have a wonderful fall view. 

In the raft room I have some of my sweetest neutrals. This dress was at a junk shop for $3. It had to come home with me

These 2 sweet friends asked tocome home with me too. I then found this sweet highchair

Halloween Tea Party

It's time to share some Halloween fellowship I am visiting some fun people today

 

Come on in to the dining room. I've got some tea brewing

I promise I will serve you some freshly brewed tea and goodies. Not plants

I potted some Sedums and Chicks and Hens in my Victorian Silver tea pots and sugar bowls

So then I took out my favorite set. 

My tea pot is my moms. She bought this in Germany. I love the white with silver 

I love the white against the Paris Grey

I am serving Apple bites and pumpkin nut muffins with Chocolate Tea.

Pumpkin Day

PUMPKIN DAY

One of the local churches has their annual pumpkin sale. I love that white one up front. 

The colors of fall are so beautiful. My favorite downtown shop, Rose's Garden Shop.  

 She not only sells plants but antiques 

The plants are vivid
