Snippet Rolls and pins

I started making rolls after seeing them on social media.  I use pieces of linen or seed bag material
to attach my snippets of leftovers from projects.  I also have ordered beautiful photos, lace and pendants from Rhonda@ A Little Bit French, to add to my pieces.  Give her a visit she has so many goodies.

What are those leftovers?  Lace, old linen, bits of fabrics, buttons, old quilt pieces, papers and charms.  I also embroider words, symbols, slow stiching as I go on the material inbetween my finds.  Since I embroider I will finish the piece with another material to hide the stiching.

I like to hang mine for display.  Currently I either put on my mannequin or from my sifter!
I will start listing them on my Etsy shop.  https://etsy.me/36DuTCp   But until then I enjoy looking at them.

Kerryanne @ Shabby Art Boutique makes beautiful snippet rolls and she has a great tutorial for.

I also took family photos and printed them on fabric to attach to my rolls.  The other pictures I have, I purchased.  I think it adds a story to the fabric.
I placed snippet rolls in my Valentines boxes this year

Sweet pictures make my day

I attach the fabric to an old textile spool and make a hanger out of wire
They are fun to make for gifts and pretty to hang
