My Valentine Mantel

Since the bungalow we are renting had the fireplace removed and bookcases in the living room, I am using them for my mantel.  We have a small space but it is so cute!  I have to believe that we are in the right place because all the events that led to us to move here happened with concise timing.  We are with family, healthy and happy.  We still have challenges, bills and worries but we take one day at a time and cling on to each other.  Our oldest daughter and family are living with us so I try to make the holidays fun!  My nieces and other grandson find the newest arrangements on my "mantel".  So have a look...

I won this in December at Karena's blog Art By Karena , if you have not been there you have to see the artists she featuresClaudia has such great style and oh the apartments she styles, wow.  She also has a blog, Paris Apartment,  that is fabulous.
So, I thought I would share some more of Nostaliqic Antiques here in Asheville, I found some beautiful items that would fit right in a Paris Apartment

Edith Collins Purse, the designer from Texas, oh don't I wish I had a few more of these, I love her vintage designs.

A bronze starfish, it really looks like a stand but I love it.

Lace skirt, I loved it but it was pricey

A hand carved Madonna

All Things Beautiful at CottageWishes

CottageWishes are my finds out and about.  I love vintage, European, French County, Scandanavian Style and Shabby Chic.  And while we are at it throw is some good ole country and rusty junk.  I love mixing it up and gravitate towards an eclectic mix.  My Etsy shop is brimming with beautiful estate finds.  I have been lucky to find some great estate sales here in Asheville.  Sweet Florentine pieces that I need to share.  Also, someone very sweet gave me advice that if I could not use my vintage curtains to share and let someone else enjoy them.  So, I am listing my vintage lace curtains.  One pair is from France, one set has 12 panels and is vintage net curtains (oh how I want to hide them away!) and I have another set of lace curtains from the 80's.
