Let me tell you there are some talented people out in blog land.  I wish I could buy something from everyone she has featured.

Did you know Debra was one of the ladies that I first started following a year ago?  Well, she was first her blog is beautiful, second she is a Godly Woman, third she has the generosity of a woman who is secure in herself and fourth she has great taste.
With all that said (don't you just love that phrase!), she has an awesome giveaway featuring Leslie Janson, another creative and beautiful soul.

Lace

 Lace is an openwork fabric, patterned with open holes in the work, made by machine or by hand, as stated by Wikipedia.  I found a great cremelin slip and it reminded me of a Tutu.

I gave my mannequin a stole of lace, it reminded me of a girl going to her first show

 I collect it, love it and am a hoarder. 

I used a few bits out of my collection to add some texture and softness to my art work

                                                                       

                                      I love to add fabric, lace to a piece it adds that element of fashion.  When I add my art and then wood I consider what to do next...Maybe burlap?  We will see...

Come on in I have a few thoughts to share... Here let us open the door a little widerLet me share some thoughts with you You see, I care...I really care how people are treated.  My heart goes out to anyone who needs a shoulder to lean on and anyone who has a problem.  This week I had the chance to listen to some people that needed to share.  Funny thing is they helped me.

Cottage-Wishes St. Patricks Day in Asheville

THE EMERALD SHORES

I celebrated the day with my nieces and grandson.  My sister and Jay came into the city and we all set out for an adventure...

                                                          We doned our gear and set out

      Appalachian Soap company all Natural products started our Top of the Day with our Four Leaf Clover

                                                       How much is that doggie in the window

                                                         The one with the wagged tail

  Remember the movie "Christmas Story" the lamp the dad won, this was in the window at the Mellow Mushroom

                                         Oh my, did I really have to include this picture, oh yes I did!!

 My little niece talking her bit by the slice instead of in pieces!!  Such joy...that smile says it all!

 We had a washer like this...my mom used it when we lived in Germany

 We then went to Malaprops Bookstore and listened to an author, Sheila Ingle,  that writes Children's history books

 Across the street was a muscian playing the bagpipes, he played all day long...Amazing Grace got my heart!!

 At the end of the afternoon we parted ways

 We extend these flowers to you with this blessing

                                                     May the sun shine, all day long,

everything go right, and nothing wrong.

May those you love bring love back to you,

and may all the wishes you wish come true!

We are having our CornBeef and Cabbage Today with a family celebration!!
