Paris Birds

I am continuing with my painting with Paris Gray

I found these wonderful birds and knew for $2 I could certainly do something with them.

 To me they are so retro, they are in again

 But they needed a little something to make them fly again

 So a little Anne Sloan Paris Gray

A wipe and swirl here and there to accent the feathers

 A little dab here and there

 And yes a new creation

 Oh yes, I think they will so perfect on my spring mantel to bring into summer

Architectural Structures

I found the greatest plaques to add some architectural structure to my fireplaces 

 They started out very bronzey

But I wanted a little Paris Gray

 With a little little touch of bronze

 I just love this color and look and can't wait to see it up~

I am so in the 50's and 60's with my choices but with Anne Sloan paint it really makes it sing...

Shopping Fun

I went to our area shops and wasn't really buying but looking...until I saw this lovely picture...what do you see

 I saw this lovely girl and thought oh she looks so like Audrey Hepburn.  When I was at the register, I asked the girl, I wonder what she is looking at?

Why of course, you see his reflection in the mirror, her love!  I feel in love with this shot.  And the composition of the black and white.

 This booth was one of my favorites and love the light and look at that iron work

 And this mannequin is just awesome

 Yes, I could have all of this for my bedroom, including that column

Love this light

 But the price tag was way to high...  I had fun and will share some fabulous things I bought at one of my favorite shops.
