You know that song Turn Around ..."Where are you goin’ my little one, little one,Where are you goin’ my baby, my own? " That is how I felt when I unpacked the box of their clothes.
Turnaround and you’re two,
| turnaround and you’re four, |
Turnaround and you’re a young girl going out of the door!
| Turnaround, ( turnaround! )Turnaround |
Where are you going my little one, little one, Little dirndls and petticoats, where have you gone?
Turnaround and you’re tiny, turnaround and you’re grown,Turnaround and you’re a young wife with babes of your own!Turnaround, ( turnaround! )Turnaround and you’re a young wife . . .With babes of your own!

Di,
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful. My daughter Charly is getting ready to have her first baby in July. I read your post and it made me cry. I remember all those things about her growing up and now she is a young woman with her own baby girl on the way. Thanks for reminding me about those beautiful memories.
We have a link party called Wednesdays Adorned From Above Blog Hop and would love to have you share this and any other posts with everyone. It runs from Tuesday night through midnight Sunday. Here is the link to the party.

What a nice post, don't be sad! It's the cycle of life...Wait, that's a little sad isn't it? I just love watching my son grow up and be a husband and hopefully a Dad some day. Congrats to your daughter
