Kids and Fun

I have some beautiful little girls in my life
Do you have favorite family moments
My Darling girls at Easter Time  and my favorite the sweetness of childhood

I love displaying pictures on this doll crib

My new favorite display a zinc dish drainer
Do you think you can have too many cooks in the kitchen?
I don't...I love that everyone got a hand in making the deviled eggs.  My daughter the pastry chef taught them how to pipe the filling in.
Yum

We had such a full household and didn't I just love it.
Grandkids and nieces...I was just a happy camper

And look what I found out in Black Mountain, some 1940's-50's pendants, and we have visited every one of these areas.

I will be having more postings of some fun items I have found on my recent trip to Black Mountain.

Fav Posts

Your and My favorite posts... It's funny how my favorite things were some of the items I loved most in blog land.  You all inspire me, guide me and support me.  I have learned so much from your posts and have fun with finding myself making and creating some of your tutorials.

Oh La La, this grabbed my eye and defined my bookcase.  I love how the colors define my room.

My Favorite Project, yes this was my favorite project.  A labor of love with blue and white.

Creating Thrifty Finds : I had so much fun taking an E course with Jeannie Oliver, learning to work with Mixed Media was very fullfilling

Springing into Spring; finding creativity in everything and using Anne Sloan Paints

My Continued Creative Journey, I added the words and fell in love with paints and mixed media

Great Finds; My grandson and I find the most interesting stuff, this was made by a 80 year old Asheville couple
Paint Wishes still loving my Anne Sloan paintBeautiful Weekend along the way we find the coolest stuff

Living Room reveal; Moving into our new home was the icing on the cupcake this year of course until the newest grandbaby came along

White Christmas decorating with my favorite items made Christmas fun

Thankful for my new House                                             Tale of Two Chairs

One Word : Belief

Belief will get you there...that was a quote from the movie Dragonfly.  Oh, how that has stayed with me.  Because yes Belief has gotten me to a place that I have wanted to be.  Belief in myself to grow, dream and continue to gather knowledge has lead me to new places.  So this year I want to gather that belief and enable myself to share with others.  I have always mentored in my job and family but truly feel God is leading me to share in the community.  Not just to believe but share my belief with others.  This is a push for me because even though I am confident in my work abilities, I am not confident in my faith abilities.
I want to be a person that can share my faith with confidence in scripture.  I want to lead by example in our community.  Moving from Florida where I was comfortable to North Carolina I haven't found a home Church.  So in belief I know I will be led to the Church that we will belong.  And there is so much more that belief will bring me...
So Join us....
Melanie at Only a Breath  said come up with One Word to really shape your upcoming year. Rather than a huge list of resolutions,     this One Word becomes a theme about where you are focusing in 2013.
Here is what she said would help:
What do you want to focus on in 2013?
It can be something tangible or intangible. It can be a thought, a feeling, an action, or a
character trait. Your word will be a reminder, a nudge. Something you can reflect on, that
will challenge you, that will inspire you.
Your word can be anything you want it to be. All that matters is that it has personal
       meaning for you.
This is your word. It needs to resonate with your heart, no one else’s.  and Melanie will help you make your one Word Button.

Much Love di,
